Former President Obama's Chief of Staff will become a partner at Forteus, the digital asset management division of Numeus Group.

According to Techub News and Bloomberg, former President Obama's Chief of Staff Bill Daley has announced that he will become a partner at Forteus, the digital asset management division of Numeus Group. Numeus, operated by Two Sigma alumni Nobel Gulati, was established in 2021 and has offices in Switzerland, New York, London, and Mauritius. Forteus manages assets exceeding $130 million. Daley will help expand its institutional relationships in his new role.

Bill Daley is 76 years old and retired from Wells Fargo last year, where he served as Vice Chairman of Public Affairs for over four years. Previously, he was Vice Chairman at Bank of New York Mellon and JPMorgan Chase, managed White House operations during the Obama administration, and served as Secretary of Commerce during President Bill Clinton's term.
