Roger Ver faces a potential 109-year sentence for tax evasion and is suing Spain to prevent extradition to the United States.

Golden Finance reports that early Bitcoin supporter Roger Ver is wanted by the U.S. for tax evasion and may face 109 years in prison. He has sued Spain in an attempt to prevent his extradition to the U.S. The U.S. alleges that he evaded the "exit tax" when renouncing his U.S. citizenship and concealed substantial encryption asset income, involving about $48 million in taxes. Ver has filed a lawsuit with the European Court and has publicly sought external support for himself.
