Trader 'The Gambler' Faces Multiple Liquidations with $8.7M Loss on Crypto Shorts
Gate News bot message, cryptocurrency trader known as The Gambler (@qwatio) experienced total liquidations on leveraged short positions, including 40x Bitcoin, 25x Ethereum, and partial liquidation on 10x FARTCOIN shorts.
The recent liquidations resulted in an $8.7M loss, contributing to his total losses of approximately $25M. Despite these setbacks, The Gambler proceeded to increase his Bitcoin short position at 40x leverage.
According to earlier reports from Onchain Lens, The Gambler had previously lost $1.22M from partial liquidations on the same positions, with floating losses exceeding $4.6M at that time.
