IDC: In the second quarter, global PC shipments rose by 6.5% year-on-year.

On July 9, Jin10 reported that according to the latest quarterly tracking data (preliminary results) from the International Data Corporation (IDC) on global personal computing devices, the PC shipments in the second quarter of 2025 are expected to rise by 6.5% year-on-year, reaching 68.4 million units globally. The effects of the import tariff policy are starting to become apparent, while the demand remains strong in other regions, the growth of the US PC market is slowing down.
