The company's stock rose over 694% during regular trading hours that day, and in after-hours trading, it further climbed over 40%, currently quoted at 47.61 USD.
Previously, Bitmine announced the completion of a significant financing round, issuing 55,555,556 shares at a price of $4.50 per share, totaling $250 million. The company stated that the funds will mainly be used to increase its holdings of Ethereum (ETH), making it a core reserve asset, while maintaining its main business of Bitcoin mining.
