PANews June 30 news, according to The Block, on Monday, a community-led Ethereum group launched an on-chain "time capsule," inviting users to store artworks, memories, messages, and predictions in an encryption smart contract, which will be unlocked next year on the 11th anniversary of the Ethereum network. This project is released to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Genesis Block of Ethereum (July 30).
The capsule was unveiled at the Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC), supported by Protocol Guild and Shutter Network. Users can submit documents by paying approximately 2.50 USD in Ether, and the proceeds will be donated to the Protocol Guild to support core research. Starting from July 30, Shutter Network's threshold encryption technology will seal all submitted content, which will be opened after one year. The smart contracts will decrypt the documents and permanently store them on the Ethereum ledger.
